We are so excited to be expanding our small Northern Colorado team of Tax Credit Connection and Colorado Property Connection. As you likely know, in a small company of 6-7 people, you are often wearing many hats. In light of this, we have created four different possible job descriptions with slightly different duties and backgrounds in mind. We will be hiring the two best A-Players we find and will position them in our company to meet their strengths, which may be blended versions of the job outlines below.

Here’s what we’re looking for in a nutshell for each position:

Office and Property Management Assistant – An energetic individual who loves people, organizing information, taking care of errands and issues around the Loveland to Longmont area and who isn’t afraid to jump in and help from time to time at night and weekends to show properties for rent. Looking for a couple years’ administrative experience and property management experience is a plus. Starts at $17/hr. 

Real Estate Manager and Document Specialist – This licensed Colorado real estate broker will be supervising the Office and Property Management Assistant and working on higher level real estate issues on the residential, ranch and land conservation side. Lots of attention to detail needed as you’ll be reviewing complex real estate documents. We also want someone with good decision making skills because lots of decisions need to be made quickly in this position. There will be occasions where you will need to help on nights and weekends for showings and drafting contracts. Salaried at $50-60K/yr. 

Contract Review and Document Specialist – This person will likely have a legal or similar background and love the details of the various tax credit programs – conservation, historic rehabilitation and environmental remediation. Lots of attention to detail needed as you’ll be reviewing the documents for all three programs and ensuring that all projects will pass the state regulatory process. You will also be a project manager of sorts following up with the various partners to ensure we have everything we need to successfully get our clients through the state review process. Occasional nights and weekend work would be in response to tight deadlines at various times of the year or for optional fundraisers and social events. Salaried at $55-65K/yr.

Business Development and Advocacy Director – This extrovert will be the face and voice of Tax Credit Connection. Shadowing Ariel for the first year or two, you will learn all of the programs and people we work with on all three tax credits as well as the buyer side of the equation. If you love going to networking events, state legislative hearings, coffee and lunch meetings and creative problem solving with the most interesting people in the state, this is the position for you! Your background may be planned giving, sales, or other jobs where relationships are the key ingredient. This position will be traveling approximately 60% time (sometimes just to Denver and sometimes to the far corners of the state and beyond). Approximately 40% time in our northern Colorado office. Salaried at $60-85K/year.
